Jane has background in networked social change, international development and global ageing.
Jane has a proven track record of leading global, multi-stakeholder programmes. Experience developed over a varied career in campaigning, research, policy formulation, movement building and programme leadership.
She is the architect of the pioneering Global AgeWatch Index the first index to measure the quality of life of older women and men across the world In 2007 Jane initiated Age Demands Action, a global network campaign, which now runs in 65+ countries and has delivered policy and practice outcomes for older men and women including increased pensions, improved healthcare, better transport and stronger representation.

Jane’s style and skills ensure that engagement and collaboration are at the heart of her practice. She has facilitated complex projects including with, civil society organisations, governments, academics and the business community.
Previous roles include Director of Communications and Campaigns and Head of Network Development at HelpAge International. Jane is a RSA Fellow.
Currently Jane is interested in network and movement building and exploring how we think about ageing individually and as a society.
