Type of Fellowship: General
Year of Fellowship: 2017

Kathryn is Development Manager at the Macrobert Arts Centre with experience across the arts, youth work, education, women’s and community development sectors. She is Trustee of a rape crisis centre, Founder of a live community crowdfunding event, and a freelance Grants Assessor for a community foundation.

Kathryn began her career in the sector as a Trust Fundraiser for a youth work charity, and has progressed to design fundraising strategy, lead project planning and shape partnership development. In her role, Kathryn raises and manages income from trusts, individuals and business partnerships, as well as leading work on impact and evaluation and partnership development. For the past 18 months she has been leading a research project to find, collate and share innovative fundraising practices.

Beyond her role at Macrobert, Kathryn pursues her passion for the development of the sector - founding a live community micro-granting dinner, and developing a social enterprise to deliver a diverse range evening classes for adults.
