Rob Burley is Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns at Action on Hearing Loss (formerly RNID), the UK's largest charity supporting people confronting deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss. He leads the organisation's influencing work across a wide range of policy areas and is responsible for the charity's large scale public campaigns, having joined in 2008 as Senior Public Affairs Officer.
Rob is a Trustee of Charityworks, the not for profit sector's graduate scheme, and took part in the scheme's inaugural year in 2009 as a 'High Flyer' already working in the sector.
Prior to moving to Action on Hearing Loss, Rob was a member of the Policy and Campaigns team at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, joining on a three month temporary contract, and leaving four and a half years later with a passion for both the voluntary sector and campaigning, having completed the first ever NCVO Certificate in Campaigning.
