We develop leaders in the social sector so that they can transform their communities, organisations and the world around them.
The lack of opportunities for leaders to develop their skills is a serious challenge facing charities, social enterprises and the wider social sector - a challenge compounded by the current economic climate. The Clore Social Leadership Programme was set up to meet this need.
We identify some of the UK’s most promising social leaders and give them development, skills and opportunities. Clore Social Fellows lead change in fields from financial inclusion to dementia care, international development to housing, and they include social activists, entrepreneurs, charity CEO's and senior managers.
The individualised Fellowship programme lasts 12 or 24 months, full or part-time. Fellows attend residential courses, have coaching and mentoring, undertake an extended secondment and a practice-based research project, as well as taking part in action learning sets.
Once their programme is complete Fellows continue to be part of our Fellowship network.
