Type of Fellowship: General
Year of Fellowship: 2010
Update September 2011
I completed the University of Cambridge – Judge Business School General Management Programme course which was extremely well organised and executed. Students came from 22 or more countries and included those from the public, private and third sectors and from organisations of a similar size to African Prisons Project to the big oil companies and banks.
A great result of the course was access to new networks and the relationships I built. Since the course I have been in correspondence with a number of the participants and one of the lecturers discussing the potential for collaboration and partnership in the future.
I will be commencing my secondment in September with the development department of the University of Nottingham. Over the coming weeks I will be meeting with the head of the department and finalising plans for the secondment, which will see me exposed to a broad variety of the university’s fundraising activities.
