Update Spring 2013
The first quarter of 2013 has been dominated by my assumption of the Chief Executive role in the merged Daycare Trust and Family and Parenting Institute, and overseeing the integration and restructure consultation (the new brand will be launched in April, and the office will start operating jointly from the same London Bridge office at the end of April). It has been another very busy three months.
In addition, I have begun my Wavelength 2013 leadership programme with a three day residential in an eco-conference centre in the Oxfordshire countryside. Over 120 delegates from voluntary, public and private sectors from across the world came together to discuss issues in relation to leadership, employee engagement and social impact. It was a hugely stimulating three days – and I am very excited about the programme for the rest of the year which includes study visits to Google, Ritz Carlton and Metro Bank in May, as well as further residential and leadership masterclasses.I have also contacted John Lewis in relation to a secondment towards the end of the year.
