There is no shared definition of innovation in the youth sector and no common language to describe or debate the role of innovation in our work. Where has innovation made a tangible difference to young people’s lives? What would be lost if the youth sector forgot about innovation tomorrow?
This article looks at the role of innovation in the youth sector, and considers the implications for leaders in the sector. Bethia argues that the youth sector has a complex relationship with innovation, which ultimately risks undermining its impact.
