Encouraging independence and resilience for blind and visually impaired pupils educated at mainstream schools aged 13 to 19; Exploring best practice
This research looks at ways to encourage independence and resilience among blind and visually impaired pupils educated at mainstream schools aged 13 to 19.
The report draws together the views of visually impaired people of all ages, and incorporates the professional experience of two of Caroline's former colleagues, both leaders in the visual impairment education sector. The central focus is the work of Queen Elizabeth School, Hexham and their ethos of inclusion.
