How have the first 3 months of the Fellowship been for you?
It’s been a roller-coaster first three months, gaining assurance of techniques and tools I have used for some years and learning new approaches and ways of thinking.
What has been your greatest challenge so far?
Reflecting on all the learning and putting in the practice – I need to ensure this is a gradual process, not running before I can walk.
What impact has your leadership been having on others?
I’ve finessed the way I work with stakeholders across different sectors, being more aware of the impact of my actions and decisions on them and their organisations.
In what way you are a better leader now than at the start of the Fellowship?
I have a greater awareness of the sector in a much broader sense and learning to treat people how they wish to be treated – not how I wish to be treated.
