An anaylsis of public and charity sector lobbying in the House of Lords
Esther Foreman's research examines campaigning and its effectiveness in the House of Lords. Esther asks wether the House of Lords, historically an area for behind the sciences lobbying by the charity sector, ready to be esculated further into the public domain? And if so, is the charity sector ready for its traditional relationship to be redefined?
Esther's research sought to ask Peers their views on being on the target of campaigning tactics, and whether or not they considered them to be an effective method for campaigning. Her report also aimed to establish whether or not Peers perceived a difference between campaigning by members of the public, charity organisations and more recent online campaigning organisations.
