Our approach is a long-term investment in the future of social change, by building the capacity of people to lead.
There are three main areas that the programme makes an impact - on individual Fellows, their organisations (and their secondment hosts' organisations) and the wider social sector.
There are a variety of ways we know we're having this impact:
Evaluation reports and annual review
We constantly look for new ways to improve what we do, through commissioning independent research, evaluation (through asking our Fellows and our wider network for feedback), and sharing our learning with the wider social sector.
Following a competitive tendering process in summer 2009, we appointed The Work Foundation as evaluation partner for the initial years of the Programme's operations.
The Work Foundation's initial report provided a baseline of the sector so that trends and changes within the sector can be monitored and mapped over the course of the evaluation of the Programme.
