Jane Bruce is Director of Social Impact at Social Bite leading its work with the homeless community. Social Bite is a group of innovative social enterprises based in Scotland including a sandwich shop chain, corporate catering business, restaurant and pop-up housing project.
Jane's passion is for helping individuals and organisations reach their full potential. She is a Board Member at The Melting Pot in Edinburgh, which supports grassroots social innovators to take forward their ideas.
Previously, Jane was Director at youth charity Venture Scotland for nine years. Venture Scotland engages young people with complex needs in a transformational development programme, known as the Journey.
Jane completed the sector leading Cancer Research UK graduate trainee scheme in Fundraising, Marketing and Communications where she specialised in volunteer development, running programmes for the organisation's 30,000 volunteers. Jane has a passion for the outdoors and all sports, having played football in the Scottish Women’s Premier League. Jane is married with two young children.
