Type of Fellowship: Specialist
Year of Fellowship: 2010
Specialist Fellowship funded by Office of the Third Sector
Update September 2011
For my research into provisions for young people Not in Employment, Education or Training, I attended a panel meeting for ethical approval in May. It was the first time I had ever presented any work for ethical approval and I found the experience very useful although there was a lot of work involved. The panel’s decision was favourable with conditions which I will respond to by the end of July.
I’ve had a lot of interest in the research from the London Borough of Brent where BANG is based and also from the DFE through an introduction by Steve Wallace.
The Diploma for Organisational Development and Executive Coaching is going well, and I have now identified possible areas of learning I want to attend during the remainder of the Fellowship: Change Management; Business Models; Professional Image Management Coaching; Public speaking and presentation; Advanced Facilitation Skills; Personal Effectiveness.
