Louise is driven by personal experience of homelessness and a drive to tackle social inequalities. As Award Manager at UnLtd, The Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs, she is supporting the social entrepreneurship movement in the Midlands by coaching and providing business model development to individuals growing social ventures. Louise leads UnLtd’s Building Futures work, a programme she designed which UnLtd is now partnered with 15 housing associations across the UK, delivering support to community social entrepreneurs.
In addition to her work with social entrepreneurs Louise has also worked to support young homeless individuals and families both in a charitable and local authority setting. Louise sits on the board of trustees for one of the largest care and support charities in the Midlands, Trident Reach who provide support to vulnerable individuals and is on the board of Trident Social Investment Group. Louise has two young and very energetic girls who are helping to keep her young and on her toes.
