Dr. Marie-Louise Sharp is a Senior Research Associate at the King's Centre for Military Health Research, King's College London. She currently leads work on research, strategy and policy impact, focusing on Armed Forces and Emergency Services health and well-being. Her PhD was in Psychological Medicine, where she focused on social influences and barriers to accessing healthcare for mental health problems in the UK military. She previously worked for the Royal British Legion as their Research and Healthcare Policy Manager, leading the Legion’s research programme and worked with the NHS, the MoD and the voluntary sector to improve Armed Forces healthcare policy and service provision. Previously she worked in Adult Health, Social Care and Local Government Finance Policy at London Councils.
