Roger Warnock

Roger Warnock

Roger Warnock is a passionate advocate of social innovation and enterprise in Northern Ireland. He is the Founding Director of the Book Reserve CIC and Co-Founder of Social Indigo and through his work he has been the author of the Northern Irish government strategy, 'Harnessing the Power of Social Innovation,'

In 2014 Roger wrote a key proposal for the Department of Justice in Northern Ireland to design and develop a new social enterprise concept, The Book Reserve, which is a globally unique business designed to employ young ex-offenders who are already parents not only offering training and support but also to develop their parenting skills and prevent their children from growing up to offend.

Roger is also the Co-Founder of Social Indigo which was set up by Roger and his business partner Paul McMinn to undertake research and design new socially innovative products and services to create social impact.

Since 2007 Roger has also worked closely with the Prince’s Trust as a champion mentor and then establishing the Business Engine NI network for their young entrepreneurs.

Roger is also an experienced Board member having previously taken up the role of Vice Chair for his local Policing and Community Safety Partnership Board and now currently as the Vice Chair for Community Change NI and Chair of business development for the Board of Stepping Stones (NI).
