Samir Singh Nathoo is Community Development Officer at Arsenal in the Community. He grew up in London and lives in Newington Green. He first joined Arsenal Football Club in 2005 as Museum Curator, tasked with moving the existing museum and archive collection to the new stadium and setting up a new museum before joining Arsenal in the Community.
He has worked on a wide range of education, equality, disability, health, social inclusion, heritage and charitable initiatives for mostly young people across north London. Previous experience includes working as Museum Assistant at Islington Museum on a wide range of exhibition and research projects and in an urban regeneration consultancy.
He is also currently a board member for Islington-based arts charity All Change Arts and on the grassroots advisory panel for football charity Kick It Out, as well as a member of the inclusion advisory group for the London Football Association. He has a BA in Classics from Wadham College, Oxford University, with a focus on Greek and Roman art and archaeology. Samir's personal interests include London history, visiting museums and galleries and watching Arsenal at home and away.
