Online Action Learning Sets

Action Learning Sets (ALS) help you address complex issues with a peer group who meets regularly and works collaboratively.

  • I was not expecting to gain that much added value from this part but lo and behold, the Action Learning was a revelation. Uncomfortable and incredibly useful at the same time, it has added much to my own thinking and my leadership repertoire.”

  • This small group peer-coaching model helped me to think bigger than I ever had before, speaking aloud dreams I never put words to.

What is action learning?

Action learning is a tool designed for leaders to learn from each other. It uses the combined wisdom and skills of a diverse group of people to work through the real situations they face in the workplace.

Action learning sets will allow you to build deep connections with each other, providing peer support on real issues. They encourage participants to test new ideas, and come up with innovative solutions different to the ones they'd think of alone.

Our experience tells us that many of our Fellows continue to meet in their action learning sets after the formal support has concluded, and our aim is that you will learn the facilitation skills required to continue hosting and delivering action learning-sets on your own.
