Cobseo Emerging Leader Programme

For Emerging Leaders in the Armed Forces charities sector with 3-6 years leadership experience who want to to take on their next challenge and make a real difference within the sector. During this intensive six-month programme you’ll build your leadership capabilities, connect with other social leaders and level up your leadership.

Who it's for

  • Emerging leaders working for a charity or organisation working to promote the welfare and general interests of the armed forces community.

  • Individuals with 3-6 years experience leading projects, teams and/or departments in the social sector.

  • Emerging leaders with a commitment to learning and self-development, looking to enhance their leadership capabilities, improving their understanding of their strengths and areas for development.

How you'll learn

  • Online and face to face learning and is designed to meet the schedule and time pressures of busy professionals

  • Two x 3 days residentials which give the opportunity to build connections across the sector

  • Webinars and Online learning modules

  • Online coaching (individual coach and peer coach) and Online Action Learning

  • Access to world-class leadership experts

  • Real world team and organisational challenges

  • 6 months programme with a total time commitment of 30 days
  • Self-directed learning designed to fit around your existing commitments
  • Awarded Clore Social Leadership Fellowship upon completion of programme
  • A maximum of 24 participants per cohort

Programme Fees

  • £2,000

    Applicants from charities with an annual turnover of over £1 million

    The programme fees are £2,000 for applicants from charities with an annual turnover of over £1 million
  • £1,000

    Applicants from organisations with an annual turnover of under £1 million

    The programme fees are £1,000 for applicants from organisations with an annual turnover of under £1 million
  • £500

    Applicants from charities with an annual turnover of under £250,000

    *Travel expenses will be covered for successful applicants from these brackets, expense limit will be set when the number of participants eligible for this subsidy is known.
  • Fully funded*

    Applicants from charities with an annual turnover of under £100,000

    *Travel expenses will be covered for successful applicants from these brackets, expense limit will be set when the number of participants eligible for this subsidy is known.
