For Emerging Leaders in the Women and Girls sector with 3-6 years leadership experience. The programme is for those who seek to expand their leadership capabilities and make a real and lasting impact within their sector. The programme aims to facilitate the building of a stronger women's movement led by a generation of skilled, empowered, and generous social leaders.

Who it's for

  • Emerging Leaders from the Women and Girls sector working in organisations run by, for and with women and girls

  • Individuals with 3-6 years experience with the sector, with experience of leading projects or people, including volunteers. This can include experience as a volunteer and does not need to be 3-6 years of consecutive experience.

  • Individuals seeking to enhance their leadership capabilities, improving their understanding of their strengths and areas for development.

How you'll learn

  • Online and face to face learning and is designed to meet the schedule and time pressures of busy professionals

  • Access to world-class leadership experts

  • Two x 2.5 day residentials which give the opportunity to build connections across the sector

  • Webinars and Online learning modules

  • Online coaching (individual coach and peer coach) and Online Action Learning

  • Real world team and organisational challenges

What to expect

  • 6 months programme with a total time commitment of 20-22 day
  • Some elements will require the participant to be released from their role for a small period of time, but mainly the programme can be undertaken outside of working hours.
  • Awarded Clore Social Leadership Fellowship upon completion of programme
  • A maximum of 24 participants per cohort
  • Self-directed learning designed to fit around your existing commitments
  • A peer network of social leaders and access to the Clore Social community

Programme fees

Thanks to the generous support of funders including Comic Relief, Esme Fairbairn Foundation, The Pilgrim Trust, and Rosa, The UK Fund for Women and Girls, we are able to offer this programme at a highly subsidised rate.

£500 - For those working in organisations with an annual income of greater than £200,000

£0 - For those with an annual income of under £200,000 a hardship fund has been created to cover participant fees and a contribution towards travel costs.
