  • Who should take this course?

    This course is for anyone who wants to develop themselves as social leaders. The main criteria is a curiosity for and willingness to reflect and apply new tools and learning.

  • What is the time commitment?

    It’s different from person to person but the actual test takes circa 30-60 minutes. The accompanying activities take 2-2.5 hours so in total expect to spend 2.5 - 3.5 hours. Like with many things, you get out what you put in. If you spend a little longer you're likely to get more out of it than if you rush through.

  • What Personality Test is used for the course?

    The test used for the course is called OPTO and is a personality test based on the Big Five Model. OPTO is an online personality test that measures 8 Dimensions of personality which are essential to behaviour and performance at work. Each Dimension is comprised of two or three underlying Aspects. These are characteristics that individuals exhibit to a greater or lesser extent.

    The test is designed to identify an individual's behavioural preferences, it does NOT measure ability or effectiveness in the workplace.

    It’s also important to note that behavioural preferences that are in themselves neither positive nor negative.
